Must. Have. Wifi! (02/25/19)

What's going on everyone!?

Today as many others before have been filled with packing our belongings and moving to our new place. It's not glamorous mind you, and it's about 3 sizes too small but it will actually be OURS. Which is something I thought we would never be able to say.

So with that being said, we're spending our first night here tonight and don't have phone and internet yet or even cell service way out here. Therefore this post and I'm sure a few others are going to be messed up as far as the date goes so I will have the date in the title to solve this for the time being. :)

Today for the #2019gameaday challenge I was going to play a game of Ticket to Ride but just couldn't keep my eyes open long enough to. 

So I opted for another game of Zombie in my pocket! As with most games it seemed to be going well but in the end I failed...

 But the worst part is it was within the last TURN! When I should have succeeded it robbed me (rightfully, I admit) of my win!

Busy day!

What's going on everyone!?

Today makes 4 days before we have to be out of our old home and in our first ever house that we will own! This meant a LOT of moving today and even more tomorrow as our goal is to be out and sleeping in our new home by tomorrow night!

So with all of this in mind, please understand the reasons for me repeatedly playing all these app games. I will get to physical games as soon as I am able but currently our new house is so small that we can't even fit a kitchen table in there, lol.

Today for the #2019gameaday challenge I played another game of Zombie in my pocket and ALMOST walked away with a win but at the last second I ran out of time and all was lost.

It really is a fun game and I love that its just as easy to win as it is to lose!

I played some more ZIMP today on and off but figured I would play something different for this post..lol.

Today for the #2019gameaday challenge I played a game of Star Realms. Surprisingly I actually won! And by a pretty good margin!

Addicted!

What's going on everyone!?

Today was spent the same as usual lately by loading up the truck so I can get some more stuff moved to our new place.

All day I couldn't stay away from the Zombies in my pocket app and played 15+ games of it today losing most and winning few but having a blast playing 

I seem to be heavily addicted to the game in my free time like I used to be long ago, lol.

Zombies in my pocket?!

What's going on everyone!?

Still in tons of pain from my back but I did manage to get a ga,e of Zombie in my pocket in.

While packing up games I came across my ol' ZIMP pop which used to be my all time favorite travel game so I knew what I wanted to play this evening.

After moving more stuff today I realized that I had packed it away. :/ 

Really itching to play the game I decided to see if there was an app for the game by chance... thankfully and much to my surprise there is!

It's a great adaptation of the game and really is fun! Unfortunately for me,  I ended up dying but that wont be the last time, lol!

Sanity slips away!

Today was a pretty rough day and I actually ended up hurting my back more than ever. It really sucks and is insanely painful but it's not like I knew I was going to hurt my back today any worse than it already is.

A new streak?

I've been doing some more packing and moving today and am glad to be relaxing here at home. 

Today for the #2019gameaday challenge I decided to play Star Realms because I just can't stay away, lol!

For a change I actually won the game I lost 2 nights ago and it seemed like I did it with ease!

Whoops!

What's going on everyone!?

With all the packing and moving lately it completely slipped my mind to post my game for yesterday's #2019gameaday challenge! 

The game I ended up playing last night was Star Realms which ended up with, wait for it... me losing, lol!

It's still a fun time win or lose and it's a game we love around here.

Then for today's #2019gameaday challenge I played a solo game of Ticket to Ride and for the first time in roughly a week I actually broke my streak and won!

Today for the #2019gameaday challenge my lovely wife, beautiful daughter and I played a game of Hero Realms with the Wizard, Thief and Ranger expansions. 

Unfortunately, I still cant post pictures unless they're screenshots because there is an error with the blogger app but rest assured I really did lose, lol!

Trinity ended up killing me and doing a great job as usual but this time Sam ended up finishing her off before she could regain any health and take her mother out as well.

As each round went on I would feel like I got this. 

Then I would worry that I hadnt.

And by the time the game was over I placed 3rd unfortunately.  But the game was still fun!

Got beat again

What's going on everyone!?

Today for the #2019gameaday challenge I played a solo game of Carcassonne and although I didnt place last I didn't place first. You know what our good friend Ricky Bobby says about that. ;)

It was a close game until the last 3rd of the game I would say. But that doesn't stop it from being any less fun!

I don't know if I'll ever be sick of this game or not but I can assure you that it will not be any time in the foreseeable future,  lol.

Today for the #2019gameaday challenge my dear ol' dad and I played a game of Ticket to Ride. 

It was a very close game and surprisingly I came away with the win somehow! 

As usual, it was a good game and he sure doesn't make it easy, lol.

Losing my sanity!

What's going on everyone!?

Today for the #2019gameaday challenge I decided to play Cthulu Realms for the first time in a long time.

It's not that it's been so long because I dont like the game, it's more that I dont understand the game in its entirety as easily as I would like to. 

So because of this I decided to play the easy AI. In the beginning of the game I was honestly getting my butt kicked and my heath got really low at one point. 

Then out of seemingly nowhere I started understanding the game and doing better, lol!

So much so that I actually won the match! Now, I know the game went on longer than a normal play session but winning is winning and I won, lol!

The world is safe... for now

What's going on everyone!?

Today for the #2019gameaday challenge I decided to get an early game in because of our big move. I decided to play Elder Sign: Omens, basically Eldritch Horror mobile.

After getting reacquainted with the game I started to try and save the world from the ancient ones! 

After a few rounds of success in closing gates the game started showing me it's TRUE colors and killing off my party!

(I failed to grab a screenshot of the first death but it was the guardian angel) 

By the time all was said and done it was 3 dead and only Joe left. Surprisingly he pulled himself together and mustered up the courage to close the last gate himself and thus saving the world from ultimate doom and destruction! 

I'm unsure if my score is any good to be honest as this is my first win. Let me know if you play this one and if my score is good or subpar at best.
