Meeple Coasters

Here's a cool way to keep drinks from putting rings on your gaming table if it doubles as your kitchen table like mine does.

Last summer I built a new gaming table(more on that later) and I needed a way to protect the surface from rings and condensation since it would double as our kitchen table as well.

I drew out some "MEEPLES" on a sheet of plywood and marked and cut a center hole out. Glued on some cork board to the back and created a custom "stain" for the wood by using watered down acrylic paints. Once everything was dried I coated it with some polyurethane resin and bam, CUSTOM COASTERS!
