As I said in my post from yesterday, my ol' Pops pleasantly surprised us by stopping by early and staying the night. This was a great surprise which meant time to play some games that we normally don't get to!
So we broke out Munchkin and taught him how to play and he ended up winning!
Today we broke out another game, this one we could play before but we hadn't gotten around to it. The game in question was Forbidden Desert. We have AND play Forbidden Island and LOVE it. So we KIND of knew what the basis was going into it.
Turns out, this game is GREAT as well! We didn't make it but it was close. We made it all the way to the last tile which needed excavated to reveal the landing platform. We had all the parts and we were good to go and struggling with low water when we suddenly drew a Sun Beats Down card. NOOOO, SO CLOSE TO WINNING!
We had a blast though and I can't wait to play again.
After cooperating we decided to have at it and play a game of Munchkin Apocalypse which my Pops won AGAIN! Was very happy for him. As a new player that game isn't the easiest to win and it totally earned it! :)
