Epic Tiny Games!

What's going on everyone!?

Today was very exciting and I can't wait to share why in a video I'll be recording tomorrow! I know, I know, I'm teasing you a bit but trust me... ;)

Today for the GaD challenge my lovely wife, beautiful daughter and I played some games where the SIZE of the games were the technical theme.

First up was Tiny Epic Quest which is an AMAZING game and I just can't seem to get enough of it! Tonight as it may be of no surprise, my wife won! The loss was worth it though. To see her excited to win at a game she thought she wouldn't be good at is something I love seeing.

Next up was some Mint Tin Pirates, one of my all time favorite GOTG (Gaming On The Go) titles. This time it was my beautiful daughter versus me in a one on one match! In the beginning I was getting some HORRID rolls but just when it seemed it was over I started getting some amazing rolls!

My daughter took the loss like a champion though. I'm glad to see she's getting better at accepting she can't win EVERY game. I still don't like winning against her but they have to learn some how to accept failure at times. :)

As always, thank you for reading and don't forget to stop and smell the meeples! :)

  1. You're an awesome dad and it's so heartwarming to see your daughter progressing through learning that winning and losing go together (something many adults have issue with!).

Board gaming is so good for so many skills and nothing beats an parent who spends such great quality time with their kid—well done! =)

    1. Thank you very much for the kind words bud! No one REALLY likes losing but as you mentioned, it goes hand in hand with winning.

Although I enjoy winning from time to time I have to say that for me, it's the time well spent that I enjoy more as days go by. :)
