Yet another busy day!

What's going on everyone!? Today has been a HECTIC hectic day to say the least. I started out the day getting my first spinal injection/steroid concoction. That part went well. Throughout the rest of the day I had spent close to 12 hours in the car which personally killed me. It's something I can't do on a GOOD day, lol. But I did it to help support my friend/neighbor and be there for him like he was for me this morning at my appointment.

During some of the time in the car, we stopped by an older looking K-Mart and I picked up a small quick game called Scabble Slam! The Card Game.

Turns out, it helped many of the hours waiting in the car to pass by decently while playing and trying to out wit and out play each other. Definitely worth a buy at just 1.99 on clearance, lol!

After the LONG day in the car, We finally made it safely back home where I was in tons of pain but glad to be here. We ate some dinner, talked a bit, I rested as was told and then got back up to get time in to do the "Game a Day" challenge.

So with that in mind, I DID play the game earlier today but I had no way to document the session at the time. This meant I got to enjoy playing the game with my lovely wife as well!

Turns out, she seems to like it and had actually won 2 out of the 3 games we played. So this one is going to go in the "Hurry up and wait" pile of games. :)

Here's a few pics of the session:

As always, thank you for reading and take care! :)

  1. My sister had a copy of that one summer during an ill-fated cruise vacation. Not that we sunk or were attacked by sharks or anything, but since we were going up into northern latitudes to see the Mendenhall Glacier, there really wasn't much "top deck" time. Too cold and rainy. We spent a lot of time couped up below decks in our tiny, windowless cabins, getting sea-sick. Scrabble Slam was there to help us pass the hours away.
